“Potrait” 60″X72″ photograph by Deryk Houston
Scotland exhibition: August 8th to Sept 19th 2009
Deryk Houston has been invited by the Gracefield Art Center in Scotland to exhibit his large five foot by six foot photographs featuring his Beacon Hill park installation work as part of their “Ties that Bind” exhibition. Deryk’s photograph’s will be displayed in a reduced light room with a five inch candle set in front of each work on a small, altar like stool. Each candle will represent a set number of the young British soldiers who have been killed in Afghanistan.
