Now let me get this straight. Iran is being told to trust the process and simply sign a deal where it will ship it’s partially processed nuclear fuel to Russia for completion of the enrichment process. Iran is being asked to “trust” that when it does ship it’s fuel out for enrichment, then there will be no political games played with it’s vital fuel needs and it can expect to get the fuel back. And yet…even as we speak…… the Russians are playing political games with the completion of it’s nuclear reactor currently being constructed in Iran, saying that it will not be completed on schedule ….due to “technical reasons”. Does this build trust with the Iranians? How can the Iranians trust the political process to send out their fuel to another country when these games go on….even at a critical moment where they are being asked to jump on board the train of trust?
If I were Iran, I would not place myself in this vulnerable position where I was exposed to trusting politics. Britain and America and Israel have all said they would never place themselves in that position either.
So the question is….why are we all dumbstruck when Iran won’t do it either?
