Peace on earth …Art Project with bed sheets

I would like to create an exciting, colourfull art project on the breakwater here in Victoria BC.
The idea would be to dye dozens of simple cotton, white bed sheets in a gorgeous saffron yellow and let the wind billow them out and flutter like laundry …….perhaps held by poles or rope….. with the help of as many people as I can encourage to join me. I need at least one hundred bed sheets….and one hundred people out on the breakwater.
I don’t have a date set yet. That would depend on the response I get from people. But I would like it to happen by the late spring of 2011. There is always a nice breeze blowing on the breakwater here in Victoria. The breakwater is where the cruise ships come in. Perhaps we could arrange to aim for the first 2011 arrival of the cruise ship. Just an idea.
