NATO willing to bomb the village to save the people.

New calls by Britain and France asking for even more fighter planes to drop destruction on Libya’s cities has to be total madness. They have already flown over two thousand missions in two weeks…..and this is not enough they tell us. They want more. God know how many people they have killed because reporting is very limited and controlled. And they thirst for more.
Even though they know that more bombing will kill more civilians. It reminds me of Vietnam when they said that they had to bomb the village to save the people. Everyone agreed then that the concept was total madness and yet here we are again… repeating history with few leaders questioning the logic. Even the NDP of Canada and the Green Party support this campaign which leaves me numb thinking about it.
A peace plan was on the table.
Leaders of five emerging powers – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, have expressed misgivings about NATO air strikes after a meeting in China and urged an end to the two-month civil war.
Many countries do not share the wisdom of the air strikes and believe that bombing the village to save the people is not a good idea.
