This painting is a unique piece. It is not very often that one gets access to the kind of wilderness found in the Muskwa Kechika. We road by horseback for eleven days over mountain passes and down into huge valley’s. Our group led by Wayne Sawchuk had an adventure every day. We encountered Grizzlies in narrow mountain passes and even hauled a horse out of the river by rope. This painting is for the serious collector because it is one of a kind. The National Geographic November 2008 edition has a story on Wayne and the Muskwa Kechika. You can see my horse “Paint” in one of the pictures:)
