I love Point No Point and the beach there. In this painting I have tried to make the \u00a0landscape outside as much a part of the scene as the interior. That is what it is like there. The beach is ever present with the sounds of it’s crashing waves and changing scene.<\/p>\n

\nArtist statement:
\nTractors always fascinated me when I was a young boy growing up on the farm in Scotland. I loved the smell of the diesel and the rubber tires in the hot summer sun. We would sit with our backs to the big black wheels and share lunch with the farm hands.
\nAs an artist, I admire how tractors easily tear up the fertile earth and prepare the ground for the next generation of seeds to flourish and grow. This idea runs through all my work.
