He was fully committed to the attack on Libya. No surprise there because we know that Harper loves to kiss America&#8217;s backside&#8230;&#8230;.but what was shocking&#8230;  was the blind support of the war on Libya by the NDP and the Green Party leaders. Not that it mattered to Canadian&#8217;s. The war just wasn&#8217;t an election issue. Canadian&#8217;s were more worried about the economy and government programs.<br \/>\nThey  see no connection between spending billions on fighter jets and having money left over for programs such as housing and education. I know someone who is being charged thousands of dollars  interest on a student loan even though they were diagnosed with schizophrenia. That&#8217;s how much the Harper government cares about it&#8217;s people. And in my community of Victoria, the number of homeless people living on the streets is staggering.
