MacKay and Harper bought the story of Obama that this would be a short deal&#8230;.. but now the truth and the facts on the ground tell otherwise and once again Canadians will have to pay the bill for an incompetent defence minister&#8217;s mistakes. I can&#8217;t seem to get the image of MacKay&#8217;s grinning face out of my head as he sat in the cockpit of the new fighter jets he was just salivating to buy with Canadian tax dollars. The phrase, &#8220;Grinning Jackal&#8221; comes to mind.<br \/>\nCanadians don;t seem to mind the cost of either wars or the cost of the fighter jets.
