“Gently Weeps”

Story: \u00a0George Harrison \u00a0was thinking about the Chinese I Ching, the
\nBook of Changes… The Eastern concept is that whatever happens is all
\nmeant to be, and that there’s no such thing as coincidence – every
\nlittle item that’s going down has a purpose.<\/p>\n

While My Guitar Gently Weeps was a simple study based on that theory. He
\ndecided to write a song based on the first thing he saw upon opening any
\nbook – as it would be a relative to that moment, at that time. He picked
\nup a book at random, opened it, saw ‘gently weeps’, then laid the book
\ndown again and started the song.<\/p>\n

I have used that idea in several of the paintings in this series and
\nwill likely continue doing so.<\/p>\n
