“Gnik Nus”

Story: Gnik Nus is “Sun\u00a0King” in reverse. It is a song written primarily
\nby John Lennon, but credited to Lennon\u2013McCartney and recorded by the
\nBeatles for their 1969 album, Abbey Road. An instrumental section of
\n“Sun\u00a0King” was also used at the end of the track “Octopus’s Garden” on
\nthe compilation.<\/p>\n

They originally were going to title it “Here comes the\u00a0Sun\u00a0King” but
\nshortened it to “Sun\u00a0King” instead to avoid confusion over their
\nprevious song, “Here Comes the\u00a0Sun”.<\/p>\n

I really liked the sound of it played in reverse. They also enjoyed
\nthrowing in silly stuff into their music to throw off intellectuals. I
\nlike that idea also because I can’t stand authority.<\/p>\n
