To the leaders of the Canadian NDP and the Green Party of Canada.
\nMy name is Deryk Houston and much of my work has been around peace issues.
\nMy work was featured in the National film board of Canada’s documentary, “From Baghdad to Peace Country”. (It aired across Canada on the evening of the last gulf war and has been aired on several networks since.)
\nI am linked to dozens of peace groups across Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n

I am extremely upset that the NDP and the Green Party have supported the bombing of Libya and want to explain to you why it is important that you change your stand on this issue. <\/p>\n

Please ask yourself if Gandhi would support this action.<\/p>\n

Does the NDP or the green Party stand for peace “all the time” or only “some” of the time?
\nWhat would Gandhi do?
\nWhy would the NDP and the Green Party support rebels that no one knows who they are or what they believe in?
\nThere are also some serious legal implications being raised by international lawyers on the legality of this war. (The UN is breaking some of it’s own rules when it enforces this resolution).<\/p>\n
