TIME FOR CHANGE IN THE WEST ALSO

Much has been said about the need for change in the middle east. And change has started thanks to the young people there. It has taken great courage and sacrifice to stand up and demand change. They could lose everything and some have done just that by losing their life.
I would like the young people in the west to also stand up and demand change in our governments. The status quo of our governments spending billions on fighter jets and other high tech killing machines must come to an end.
My own Canadian government, run by Steven Harper and Peter MacKay are about to spend billions on fighter jets at the same time that we have people living on the streets in absolute filthy conditions. Harper and his government chooses not to house or provide proper care for these people because he says that there are no funds available.
One has to wonder where their interests lie.
At the same time they claim there is no money for these poor people.
When are we going to bring about change?
