New York Times article get’s it wrong.

It is disturbing to read Mark Landler’s article in the New York Times,”Clinton Bluntly Presses Arab Leaders on Reform”. In his article he makes the unsupported comment that Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons. It should be noted that no evidence exists that Iran is doing that. Even Clinton has said in the past that it is not so much that Iran is building a bomb, she said that the problem is that they would know how to if they were allowed to acquire the knowledge through their purely civilian nuclear power process. This is an important difference and the sloppy reporting by Mr. Landler sets the groundwork for mistakes such as what happened in Iraq with the weapons of mass destruction debacle. The same sloppy reporting got the United States into that mess also.
Whether or not Iran is pursuing a bomb is not known.(Certainly the IAEC hasn’t found any evidence) But it is clear that the United States and Israel are not going to allow them to have civilian nuclear know how either…. even if they have no interest in a bomb.
The problem is that Iran has the knowledge and the capability now anyway and there is nothing anyone can do about it. The sanctions simply have forced Iran to deal with partners such as north Korea and other dangerous fringe groups. They have made it difficult for the young people to get an education. They have made it difficult for Iran to get spare parts for it;s planes and so we see them crash with innocent people on board which spreads more hate and revenge.
We see Obama making the most beautiful speeches. But what does it all mean when it is not practiced in our world. In fact we see the opposite.
Thank you
